Congratulations to one of my former voice students, Nicole Johnson, for chooSING Blake Shelton’s team Monday night, October 1, 2012, on THE VOICE
She was fantastic, poised and mature for 18 years old. I never heard her sing a wrong pitch in lessons – unless we were experimenting with a new song or exercise. She can SING anything, any style, any genre…. but has chosen to concentrate on “country.”

She recorded “If Jesus Came Back” a few years ago. Her family picked up stakes in Denham Springs, Louisiana, and moved to Nashville to get closer to Nicole’s goal of becoming the next Country Music Star…. she’s on her way with “THE VOICE”
